ABOUT THE SUSTAINABLE RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION
The Sustainable Restaurant Association assesses behaviour, measures action and celebrates progress, connecting businesses around the world to accelerate change towards a hospitality sector that is socially progressive and environmentally restorative. We do this through the world’s leading sustainability certification tailored for the sector: The Food Made Good Standard, the global gold standard for measuring progress across the industry. It is the world’s most comprehensive sustainability certification specifically designed for hospitality.
We set the Standard for sustainable foodservice around the world.
We are a small, passionate team punching above our weight. We work with over 11,000 commercial kitchens across the globe. We actively prioritise creating a diverse and inclusive team that reflects the variety of experience across the hospitality sector.
Like any great restaurant, we believe that together we are far greater than the sum of our parts. Together, we can accelerate change towards an environmentally restorative and socially progressive industry.
We are looking for a dynamic, proactive Sustainability Coordinator to support the delivery team to deliver Food Made Good certifications, helping the sector move further and faster toward a progressive future.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Sustainability Coordinator is responsible for key administration and support for the Food Made Good (FMG) Standard and reporting process. This role is primarily process oriented: on-boarding foodservice businesses and managing admin throughout the delivery of the Food Made Good Standard. This role will ensure that all F&B businesses complete their audit in a timely fashion while ensuring that these businesses have an optimal experience of the Standard. The Sustainability Coordinator is also responsible for answering enquiries to our community@thesra.org and standard@thesra.org inboxes.
This role will support the FMG Standard Team to solidify the process for reporting going forward, identify opportunities for streamlining, and support with research as needed.
You are expected to keep up to date with foodservice-related sustainability trends, research and other developments, and to share that knowledge with our network and the team.
