FOOD MADE GOOD IN AUSTRALIA

Bringing Food Made Good to Australia
Food Made Good now has an official presence in Australia, thanks to our partnership with Innavi!
Why was Innavi the perfect choice for this new partnership? Their mission is to build a future where commercial kitchens lead the charge in environmental stewardship. Innavi is committed to transforming commercial kitchens across Australasia into sustainable, eco-friendly operations, combining sector-specific expertise with environmental consciousness to create greener pathways in the hospitality industry. By providing cutting-edge tools, knowledge and resources, they aim to inspire meaningful change and actively contribute to a healthier planet.
Innavi’s team of seasoned professionals, accomplished chefs and environmental specialists develops and implements sustainable practices tailored to the unique needs of each kitchen, revolutionising the hospitality industry by providing innovative solutions that reduce environmental impact while enhancing operational efficiency and creating great spaces to work.
These solutions include designing and installing commercial kitchens; providing tailored seminars and demonstrations to equip kitchen staff with the knowledge and skills to implement sustainable practices effectively; offering guidance in building sustainable supply chains; and now, supported by The Sustainable Restaurant Association, bringing the Food Made Good Standard to kitchens across Australasia.
What is the Food Made Good Standard?
Developed by The Sustainable Restaurant Association, the Food Made Good Standard is the only global sustainability certification that has been designed especially for the hospitality industry. Robust and evidence-driven, the Standard takes a comprehensive, holistic approach to what sustainability should mean for this influential industry, based on detailed criteria across its three pillars of Sourcing, Society and Environment. The Standard measures progress, encourages a culture of continuous improvement and rewards excellence, and is a core part of how we work to achieve our mission of driving positive change through the F&B sector worldwide.
Is the Food Made Good Standard available EVERYWHERE?
In 2023, we developed a new iteration of the Food Made Good Standard. This included an updated, more user-friendly platform and a brand new website to match, and we called on a range of experts to contribute as we re-developed the question set that restaurants must complete for their evaluation and the supporting evidence required. Not only did this modernise the Standard and make it more thorough, but it is now also accessible and applicable for F&B businesses anywhere in the world. The Food Made Good Standard now has a presence in over 30 countries, with our network including restaurants, hotels, cafés, bars, catering companies and universities. You can read more here about how the Food Made Good Standard continues to drive change across the globe.
