WHO WE ARE
Here at The SRA, we love food and we care about sustainability.
The SRA is at the intersection between the foodservice industry and the sustainable food movement. We want to make sustainability part of the DNA of every foodservice business, while inviting consumers to join in and celebrate what makes food good.
Our purpose is to accelerate change toward an environmentally restorative and socially progressive foodservice industry in the UK and this underpins everything that we do. We bring together progressive people working in food and empower them to change the system faster.
Our ambition is to meet our purpose through two key metrics; GROWTH (reaching more people in the food service industry to enable scale) and CHANGE (landing practical change that drives the sustainable food movement forward).
To deliver this, we firmly believe that everyone has a role to play and it can be done through the following key areas:
THE “FOOD MADE GOOD” COMMUNITY
We facilitate an online community of foodservice businesses and suppliers working together to create a sustainable foodservice industry for people and planet
COLLABORATION AND CAMPAIGNS
We drive collaboration with NGOs and policy makers, whilst landing impactful campaigns that create meaningful change at restaurant level, eg: “Unwrapping Plastics”
DINER ENGAGEMENT
We aspire to connect with consumers and grow awareness of the Food Made Good brand and star rating
