The Butchers Block is an independent, family run traditional butchers, supplying restaurants and establishments throughout the capital for four generations. The highly skilled team, butcher from nose to tail, offering a bespoke service by hand cutting your product to your exact requirements. We offer delivery 6 days a week in our temperature controlled vans, by drivers who are involved in the butchery and understand the importance of respecting the meat. Our dedicated team are always happy to offer their industry knowledge, in order to provide you with a product truly unique to your establishment.
We approach business in an individualistic way, where we understand the unique requirements that different businesses have. We fully appreciate and support this, so we tailor the service accordingly to each site that we serve. Traceability is a key part of our business model and we work closely with farmers to ensure this, as well as meeting our high-quality standards. We work with farmers who have a minimum quality of being Red Tractor Approved, as well as offering Free Range, Organic and Rare Breed products. The meat we supply comes from animals of a high well-being, given natural feed which do not contain additives, steroids or GM ingredients.
We provide many in house services, ensuring the highest quality product can be achieved. We dry age own meat in our purpose built fridges, hand picking cuts to mature and rotate accordingly, to achieve the maximum flavour. We hand make a variety of products, from sausages to burgers which gives us the ability to follow any product specifications offering uniqueness in our products.
We work with British farmers as much as possible to ensure that the mileage of our produce from Farm to Fork is as limited. We butcher whole carcasses to limit the amount the meat travels, as well as ensuring a professionally butchered final product We strive to increase the sustainability of our business and take into consideration how we source, package and deliver our products. This is to ensure that we operate as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible, to help reduce our carbon footprint.
