We bring you fresh, tasty and colourful food from all corners of the Mediterranean. Our dishes are seasonal and our ingredients are from some incredible suppliers and producers. We bring you relaxed vibes, sharing dishes and cracking flavours.

As a social enterprise, we invest our profits back into the community via our lovely sister organisation, Food Nation.

At Harissa we have a strong focus on supporting our community, and offer a Social Lunch Club every week for locals to attend and come together over great food around the table. We are extremely proud to have been awarded a 3 star sustainability rating this year as well as being named a finalist at the Food Made Good Awards 2018 for Supporting the Community. The social and environmental aspect of running a restaurant is at the heart of everything that we do, and as we continue to grow we hope to be the leading light in the North East for sustainability!

Sustainability goals 2018

A big goal of ours for the remainder of 2018 is to develop an incredible takeaway offer focusing on healthy eating and caring for the environment with the aim of breaking down barriers to change the perception of takeaway food.
