How sustainable is your wine? And how much does it matter?
The SRA in partnership with Jascots Wine Merchants invites you to join a focus group on the 30th of July to help answer these burning questions;
What does wine cost the environment?
Does wine need meat?
What does sustainable wine mean to you?
Is it sustainable to be sustainable?
In this first-of-its-kind event for the SRA, for a select group of dedicated members, we’ll ply you with a tasting of The Uncommon English Sparkling Wines – a company vying to be the most sustainable wine brand in the country. Coffee and pastries will provided to perk you back up for lunch service.
What? A workshop delivered by the SRA & Jascots to explore the issues of sustainable wine and what we can do together to solve them.
When? 9am-12pm, Tuesday 30th July
Where? temper City, 2 Angel Ct, London EC2R 7HJ
Who? The person who decides which wines you buy would be the best fit. This could be your beverage manager, sommelier, owner/manager – but open to anyone from your business with an interest in sustainability and influence over food and/or beverage decisions.
We need YOU and your ideas to help kick off our wine sustainability initiative.
Please complete this survey prior to attending the focus group to help us better understand what our members already know, and what we can help you with.
