Food Waste Bad Taste is a six week programme to helps businesses audit their food waste practices, set target and take action to reduce food waste.

With our first of its kind Food Waste; Bad Taste, we are urging hospitality businesses across the country to Target, Measure and Act on food waste in their business, as per WRAP’s latest framework, with our guidance.

The online programme provides a collection of materials, tips and guidance to help your business reduce its carbon footprint, save money and contribute to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 12.3 – cutting global food waste by 50% by 2030.




Food Waste Bad Taste was a really important and worthwhile project for us to be involved in. We were supported every step of the way, literally taken by the hand through each week, Hannah was always available for a chat if I had a query or question.

For us it was so insightful to see exactly how much Food waste we were really producing. The online community was a great help to bounce ideas and concerns off other members participating in the campaign. We have started to see reduction in our Prep waste which is fantastic. The campaign gave us the tools and resources to kick start us into action. We are proud to have taken part and excited to see more progress in the future.
